Acots Global was built for the contracts they can't staff fast enough, the projects they won't touch below ₹25 crore, and the clients who need one great engineer in 14 days — not a 90-day procurement process.
What we do
We source, vet, and place OSS/BSS software engineers into telecom system integrators, Nokia and Ericsson delivery partners, and tier-1 operators globally.
We cover six platforms: Nokia FlowOne, Ericsson OSM/ENM, Amdocs CES, Netcracker, Comverse/Optiva, and cloud-native telecom (NFV/SDN, TOSCA, Kubernetes).
Every engagement is either Hire — the engineer on your payroll with a one-time placement fee — or Deploy — the engineer employed by Acots, working for you, with salary plus a custom monthly management fee.
On Deploy, you see what the engineer earns. The management fee is quoted separately. The client pays the engineer directly where the model allows. No payroll float held by Acots.
How we verify every engineer
"Acots Verified" is not a checkbox. It is a 5-step process that every engineer on our bench completes before a client sees their profile.
- CV screening
We verify platform-specific claims. "Nokia FlowOne SOM, 4 years" must be backed by named employer, named project, named operator. Generic "OSS/BSS experience" does not pass.
- Technical screen — 60 minutes
Platform-specific scenario questions. For FlowOne: "Walk me through a multi-technology service decomposition in SOM. How would you handle a NEMO model change mid-project?" For Ericsson: "Describe a YANG model you have written for ENM. What were the constraints?"
- Practical exercise
A relevant configuration or code task specific to the claimed platform. Not a generic algorithm test.
- Communication and timezone assessment
Clear technical English. Genuine commitment to required overlap hours. Assessed by call, not form.
- Reference check
At least one reference from a live delivery project on the claimed platform. Nokia, Ericsson, or Amdocs project managers only. No peer references accepted.
Only engineers who pass all five steps receive the Acots Verified badge and appear on the platform.
What we stand for
Telecom only
We will never take a non-telecom placement. Not because we can't, but because specialisation is the product. The moment we become generalists, we become competitors to TCS — and TCS has 582,000 people.
Salary and fees spelled out
On Deploy, you see what the engineer earns; the management fee is quoted separately. On Hire, the fee is 15% one-time on start. Engineers know their numbers. Clients know theirs. No hidden salary markup.
The 14-day promise
Every contract includes a 14-day replacement guarantee. If we can't deliver, we don't charge. This promise only works because we maintain a bench — we are never searching LinkedIn the day a client calls.
Platform depth
Our vetting standards are non-negotiable. We would rather tell a client we cannot fill a role than place an engineer who cannot deliver. One bad placement damages the trust that 10 good ones built.
